Investor Program
As a means of promoting economic development, the Provincial government developed the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP) to facilitate the immigration process for international investors and their families.
In return for a 5-year zero-interest secured and passive investment, investors and their dependent family members can obtain permanent residence in Canada.
This investment is completely guaranteed by Immigrant Investors Inc. (IQ), a full subsidiary of a Quebec governmental agency.
Due to the increasing success of the QIIP, the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI) established a yearly intake quota (quota system) of Applications for a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). As an authorized Financial Intermediary, Stuart has access to these quotas. The last submission period was from September 10th, 2018 to August 31st, 2019 with a quota of 1,900 CSQ applications.
The QIIP is currently being reviewed by the MIFI and we are expected to receive official information about the 2021 program soon.
